Dr. Ramirez serves as Coordinator for both Women's & Gender Studies and The Honors College and is Senior Lecturer in the department of Sociology. She recieved her Doctor of Education in 2013 from Valdosta State Univeristy.The bulk of her courses address social stratification, education & society, and studies of the family.
