Michelle C. Brooten-Brooks is a part-time professor of Marriage and Family Therapy. Her MS was earned at Valdosta State University in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2018. She is also a fully licensed therapist in private practice. In her courses, she enjoys preparing future clinicians for work in the mental health system. Her time working in community mental health showed a tremendous need within the system for the unique MFT approach, which prioritizes relational thinking, conversational techniques, and strong therapeutic connections.
